Malamata was officially born in 2016; after a few years of training with local artisans and creating small collections, Marta Ramos, the person behind the brand, moves to Milan and at the Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana, she takes the specialization courses that will mean a before and after in the firm. On his return to Tenerife, he collaborated with craftsmen from other trades, creating unique and unrepeatable collections.

Malamata bets from the beginning for the craftsmanship, each piece is designed and handmade in his workshop in La Laguna, combining it with a contemporary design, always fleeing from mass production and claiming the special of individual and unique objects. Geometric, clean and elegant lines, as well as a bold use of color are characteristic of the firm.
